0300 numbers are specifically for public sector bodies and non-profit organisations, whereas 0333 numbers are for use by commercial organisations.
03 numbers work in exactly the same way as other non-geographic numbers (e.g. 0845 numbers), except they are cheaper to call, particularly from mobiles. Callers pay the same amount as they would when calling a landline 01 or 02 number, even from a mobile phone.
When a customer dials your 03 number, calls are instantly routed to your existing landline or mobile number. You can change this destination number quickly and at any time, either online or using our free iPhone App.
03 numbers can be set-up instantly, you don't need new phone lines and no engineer needs to visit.
